The People Team
The People team’s vision is to enrich the lives of every team member at Dun & Bradstreet globally. The team is comprised of six distinct functions cross-collaborating to achieve our collective goals: Business Partners; Talent Acquisition; Total Reward; Learning & Development; Analytics and People Operations. We have an exciting opportunity for a People Operations Associate in Hungary to support our employees in Hungary and across Europe as part of our evolving People Operations Center of Excellence.
The Role
The role requires a highly collaborative, customer centric approach with various stakeholder groups including the wider People Team, leaders and employees. The scope includes Hungary with some opportunity to support across the Europe region. Our team works in a dynamic, fast paced environment which underpins our relationship-based culture. As such, you’ll need a flexible and adaptable communication style, ability to engage with all levels across the organisation and strong self-awareness to build strong relationships across the business. You will be accountable for customer support & administration across the employee lifecycle. This role is exposed to multiple functional disciplines including compensation, benefits, HR policies, HRIS, reporting, employee relations and analytics.
Key responsibilities include:
- Act as the 1st point of contact for all People Team enquiries that come through our case management system or over the phone, providing superior customer service to the People Team Business Partners, new hires and line managers in line with global Service Level Agreements;
- Escalation of complex queries & collaboration with relevant Business Partner to bring to closure
- Primary point of contact for questions related to People Team event driven processes e.g.; merit and bonus cycles, performance management and talent assessment.
- Provide 1st level employee relations and policy advice e.g. absence management.
- Coordinate the annual review and update of policies, procedures and information on the company intranet with Local People Lead to ensure compliance with local legislation and regulations. Documenting local People Team Standard Operating Procedures.
- Partners with People Team Business Partners on employee investigations including scheduling meetings, note taking and preparing reports.
- Reporting from HR Systems to generate offer letters for internal job changes, promotions and new starters and to provide required labour statistics.
- Play an active role in ensuring HR systems and processes are audited and kept up to date with accurate information.
- Provide onboarding support for new starters including obtaining references, proof of eligibility to work, new starter documents.
- Work with line managers to facilitate the probationary sign off process prior to end of probationary period.
- Supporting leaders and Business Partner with voluntary and involuntary leavers, including the administrative procedures to end the employment relationship.
- Build relationships with stakeholders across other People Team centres of excellence to problem solve and streamline processes.
- Support local and global projects and initiatives when required including ISO, GDPR and organization changes.
- Provide benefits admin support liaising directly with suppliers (e.g. Occupational medical service, recruitment agencies, event organisers, external payroll partner), regularly provide data to the external payroll specialist related to payroll accounting.
- Other ad-hoc tasks when required e.g. employment references, provision of data for client RFPs.
- Supporting our Talent Acquisition team with candidate screening and initial interviews in local language.
What are we looking for?
- Fluent (written & oral) Hungarian and English language skills. Other European language skills would be advantageous.
- Working knowledge of Hungarian employment legislation would be advantageous.
- Demonstrates strong customer focus.
- Solid experience multi-tasking in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.
- Employee relations experience/knowledge would be ideal.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office; Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel with ability to create pivot tables and dig into data and present data visually.
- Experience of using Human Resource Information Systems – experience of Workday would be a bonus.
- Ability to build relationships with a geographically dispersed team.

- Strong attention to detail and very good communication skills.
