Product Management Team is the core team in D&B India that manages the Vision, Product Roadmap, Delivery, Operations, Solutioning and Go-to-Market activities for all products.
The primary responsibility of this team is to:
· Closely track the Data & Insights landscape in the country across Risk Management and Sales & Marketing Solutions to generate product strategy for D&B India
· Own, Visualize and develop the product roadmap & strategy for D&B India
· Help transform D&B India into a product-driven company that offers superior data and insights to their customers.
· Monitor, perform and track product operations across all customers, including onboarding, delivery, customer-servicing and revenue realization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Product Manager is a role that is core to the product-centric approach of D&B India. The PM will play a critical role in owning the entire product life Cycle, right from planning to execution. Eager beaver attitude and an obsession with deadlines, analysis of the product performance, driving a solution set across development teams and a visionary will be the drivers for this role. We want PMs to be evangelists - they are responsible for articulating the product's vision to customers, partners, analysts and internal stakeholders like sales, presales and implementation teams. They essentially should be CEOs for their products, and would be evaluated on the product's commercial success.
The associate will additionally participate in various product related projects directly enhancing our offerings to customers. The main responsibilities are:
Product Strategy
· Understand company's strategy & ecosystem to define the product vision - Owns the product vision and strategy
· Lead the ideation, technical dev. and launch of innovative products
· Creates and maintains the product roadmap in conjunction with Senior Management and Business stakeholders.
· Enables sharing of best practices to help drive sales
Product Operations
· Manages the product cost, investment and business case requests, and overall benefit realization
· Acts as the primary point of contact for all aspects of the products related to stakeholders, partners and customers.
· Generating, tracking and implementing Project Plan for development or enhancement of product features
· Responsible for ensuring product design is in line with the go-to-market strategy
· Streamline the sales & onboarding processes to ensure seamless delivery of the solution to clients
· Works with product marketing to drive awareness and adoption of the product
· Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction
· Analyze metrics that inform the success of products
Solutioning
· Work closely with Business, Technology, Operations and Sales teams to identify market need, gather the product requirements and finalize the product construct.
· Respond to technical and functional product questions raised by stakeholders and customers.
· Preparation of proposals for new opportunities that involve products as the solution to customers.
· Support to sales team for explaining product information to the customers by making presentations, onsite support if required and handling any specific queries
People Management
· Management of team & mentoring & coaching them.
· Resolving grievances or reporting them to higher authority.
· Development and Training of the team to enhance skills and capabilities of the team
What are we looking for?
- Knowledge of product management techniques (e.g., product road-mapping, feature matrix)
- Ability to handle ambiguity and change
- Visualize and conceptualize new ideas and solutions
- Research and analysis (both primary and secondary research)
- Customer management and excellent communication & presentation skills
- Art of negotiation and prioritization with stakeholders like Customers, Sales, Technology, Management etc
- Ability to manage teams and built close relationships with different team members

- Strong knowledge of product strategy development
- Good understanding of tech to build new features in discussion with engineering team
- Industry
- Experience in product sub-segments of BFSI markets like, Underwriting, Credit, Ratings, Loan Origination Systems, Real-time systems etc. is desirable.
- Experience
- Master’s degree in product management / finance / engineering is preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Experience of leadership and/or management, ideally in a global organization
- Proven experience of building strong, cohesive partnerships with the business, operations, technology and other key stakeholders
- Experience of project management desired
- Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate concepts to a senior management and customers.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels, with both internal and external parties.
- Must be highly organized, detail-Oriented and focused on completing a project end-to-end.
