Dun & Bradstreet is looking for a Program Manager to join our RDI (Research, Development & Innovation) program. You will influence and contribute to the establishment of the program and the evolving operating models through which it will execute. You will bring your leadership to a fast-paced environment, dealing with elevated levels of ambiguity and the general nebulous nature of corporate innovation. You will be collaborating with a wide range of cross functional stakeholders, to the most senior levels of the company, whilst influencing engagement with the RDI program through articulating the potential value innovation can bring. You will lead in the definition and governance of our intellectual property protection activities.
As part of the RDI team, you’ll:
- Steer the program - overall progress, monitoring risks, resolving issues, and initiating corrective action as appropriate
- Manage the dependencies and the interfaces across the program, internal and external
- Co-ordinate across functional organizations, communicating clearly and concisely with stakeholders at all levels
- Collaborate with ideation partners across the business to elaborate initial thoughts into tangible backlog selection items
- Support the growth of the backlog ensuring a continuous pipeline of work
- Build and manage the delivery roadmap with cross functional dependencies
- Grow the program’s development of decisioning data, informing our ability to invest further, pivot or abandon ideas
- Provide transparency into the program's progress, reporting via agile methods, to all levels within the company
- Evangelize the program and its contribution to building a culture of innovation across the company
About you:
- You will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Project & Program Management using leading methodologies and processes
- You will be an enthusiastic team player, pro-active, understands the functions of other business and technical groups
- You will be understanding of the Agile Development methodology and how using that methodology impacts the development pipeline from end to end
- You will have experience of managing multiple parties (including third-party vendors) on high profile and technologically innovative solutions
- You will have the ability to manage teams across multiple global locations
- You will understand budgetary control and resource allocation procedures
- You will have experience of working in an API or Big Data domain is an advantage
- You will have experience with a Research & Development program or the patent process is a distinct advantage
