The Specialist, Sales Analytics is part of Go-To-Market Decision Science Team, which is responsible for managing data, delivering insights, recommendations and supporting day-to-day analytics needs for stakeholder across Sales, Marketing and Shared Services Teams.

The Specialist, Sales Analytics is responsible for reporting on key business measures, delivering insights, developing compelling data visualizations/dashboards, and effectively telling the story to current and prospective business partners.


Essential Key Responsibilities:

    • Create and deliver accurate, high-quality, thoughtfully designed analyses to answer operational and strategic questions
    • Build visually engaging and informative dashboards in Tableau that are intuitive and responsive for end users
    • Recommend best practices from both a technical and process perspective as related to Tableau development
    • Define and document measurement requirements for analytics projects, including calculations, filtering criteria’s, business rules, etc.
    • Breakdown requirements into user stories and partner with the Data Engineering team to acquire, analyze, clean and structure data that can be leveraged for insights generation
    • Build SME around the relationship and limitations between data from various Sales, Finance and Marketing systems
    • Provide training, documentation, and other assistance to support and expand the use of analytics and tools across the organization
    • Additional duties as assigned

Additional Skills and/or Certifications

    • 8+ years of experience as a data analyst converting data into actionable insight and has proven ability to articulate data‐driven recommendations that shape the business strategies
    • Very strong experience with quickly building data visualization worksheets and dashboards to analyze, view and interpret data sets
    • 5+ years of Tableau application development experience, including visualizations, parameters, and report optimization
    • Expertise with multiple database platforms including cloud-based data warehouses such as Amazon Redshift, GCP, SQL Server and Snowflake
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
    • Experience with Systems of the Sales, Finance and Marketing Tech Stack in the context of business data insight development, such as Salesforce, SAP, Ring DNA/Revenu.io, Marketo, Drift, Salesspot, Adobe Marketing Suite etc.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or other data-centric major
    • Familiarity with Agile approach to development and delivery
    • Exposure to Statistical modeling
    • Project management skills
    • Tableau Qualified Associates or Tableau Certified Professional certification is a plus
