Designation: Analyst, Data Acquisition Location: Delhi

Department: Trade Exchange Program-Sales

About Trade Exchange Program :

The Dun and Bradstreet Trade Exchange Program is a ‘shared information network’ that gives corporates 24 hours online access to payment information on current customers. With rich experience and expertise in running several such programs globally, the D&B Trade Exchange Program helps managements to improve collections, bring down sales outstanding, besides providing quality information to help business decision makers reduce risk and increase profitability.

Business Development :

New Trade Participant acquisition in assigned territory for D&B Trade Exchange Program. Complete Ownership of assigned accounts from Lead Generation to Delivery of final service offering.
Daily reporting of all Trade Data acquisition activity.
Achieve targets through new data acquisition and existing client mining.
Adhere to data acquisition plan like meeting the budgeted number of Trade Data prospects every week, follow up etc.

• Organizing events with trade associations to approach the target trade prospects.

Operations

    • Ensuring continuous submission of data from trade partners.
    • Co-ordination with Ops team for data processing.
    • Resolving issues with Trade Participants through cross functional co-ordination.
    • Liaising with the operations team for a smooth delivery of the product and ensuring the service expectations of the Trade Participants are met.
    • Maintaining the data / participant contact details in appropriate data warehouses hygienically.
    • Progress Reviews and Forecasting Reports are filed periodically as required by the Management.

People Management

    • Be a team player
    • Will work under the direct supervision of the Manager-Trade Exchange Program.

Work Experience:

    • MBA or any post graduation with relevant experience of at least two years in business development.
    • Should be excellent at concept selling
    • Should have good knowledge of the local commercial and Industrial Belts.
    • Should have working knowledge of basic finance concepts,
    • Highly articulate with excellent business communication (verbal and written) skills and presentation skills suitable for a global corporate environment.
    • Wiling to travel across cities.
    • Possesses excellent MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint and MS-Word skills

Primary External Interactions:

    • Key personnel at Corporates and SME Entrepreneurs
    • Decision makers at MNCs and Corporates.

Primary Internal Interactions:

    • Legal, IT, Finance, IT Infrastructure, Sales Team and Heads of other SBU.

Competencies:

    • Strong interpersonal skills.
    • Proven selling skills, especially handling key accounts.
    • Strong Communication and Presentation skills.
    • Strong research and analytical skills
