As part of the Match team, you’ll:
- Collaborate with team members to design, implement, test, deploy and monitor Java and Python based software in AWS
- Partner with Lead Architect to drive the delivery of high-performance systems in the firm, and working on reference architectures and baseline implementations where appropriate
- Work with the Data Science team to understand D&B patents and implement differentiating IP in Match and Entity Resolution
- Participate in leadership and guidance on pragmatic methods for measuring progress and the impact of change
- Create, plan and communicate roadmaps with management, stakeholders and the team
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Computer Science
- 8+ years of proven software systems design and delivery
- Strong programming skills in Java and Python as well as experience with other programming languages
- Experience with and/or understanding of data design options and tradeoffs faced when selecting data systems, protocols, sharing strategies and normalization levels is desirable
- Experience working in a public cloud hosted environments (AWS and Google Cloud preferred)
- Experience applying Agile methodologies
- Understanding of micro-service, machine learning, and scalable cloud architecture
- Must be proactive, diligent and prepared to ensure and maintain the platforms’ stability and reliability
