The Role:

As a QA Tester in the Data Platforms & Engineering Technology team you will join a team of brilliant, friendly and energetic solutions architects, developers, QA engineers and Project Managers who strive to deliver best in class custom solutions to our customers. This is a hands-on test automation and tooling role that requires excellent technical, testing, organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Collaborate with developers, architects, testers to develop and deploy test automation tool set in AWS & GCP.

Analyze requirements and design framework to cater to BIG Data requirements developed/deployed in Java/Spark

Be able to work with stakeholders in Analyze, Prioritize requirements, create roadmap

Provide detailed, statistic-based status reports on progress

Strong knowledge of Linux and Microsoft Windows

5+ Years of experience on working with Java, SQL and XML

2+ Years of experience with SPARK, SCALA, Python

Expertise in setting up CI/CD, build deployments with Jenkins

Experience with BDD/TDD testing practices.

Experience with Agile methodology and the ability to recognize opportunities for enhancement and continuous improvement.    

Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of technologists and business team members including offshore team members.

Ability to coordinate and work with globally distributed teams.

A good understanding of on Cloud-Based Services, Tools and best practices would be a plus.
