Dun & Bradstreet is seeking a passionate, experienced Contract Administrator to join their Global Sourcing, Procurement and Vendor Management (GSPV) organization. The role’s primary focus is to manage, prepare, revise, examine, analyze, and negotiate services and/or goods contract documents for defined markets in support of GSPV and collaboration with its internal business. In addition to mitigating risks, contract life cycle management activities and commercial provision governance, position is responsible for value generation and driving contract compliance.
 

As part of the GS&P team, you’ll:

    • Work with sourcing and business partners to identify, review, negotiate, renegotiate, and administer contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives. This includes assisting in negotiating and authoring of commercial contract terms, dates, and payment terms with existing and new suppliers
    • Confirm viability of new and existing suppliers prior to contracting activities
    • Analyze any potential risks that come with changes to the contract
    • Work with people across various levels of an organization to create and maintain a strategy for contract management
    • Negotiate any commercial terms and conditions with suppliers to obtain goods and/or services at the best value - price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and the supplier's reputation and history
    • Develop and leverage contract negotiation team, internal business partner and supplier relationships, act as a liaison between external and internal parties during the processes of developing and negotiating contracts maintaining communication and aiding in conflict resolution
    • Coordinate, understand and translate underlying business goals/objectives, ensure the former is incorporated and contract documents are finalized / executed
    • Support negotiation and authoring of contract terms which best protect D&B’s commercial, reputational, and legal interests, partnering with other SME teams as needed
    • Maintain, evaluate, and monitor critical high spend contracts to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to incorporate commercial updates / changes
    • Preparing revisions and briefs that summarize financial information and contractual regulations
    • Providing summaries and details about contracts, while ensuring that the execution meets company policies 

About You:

    • Up to 3 years of experience in a Contract Administration and/or contract manager role in a Finance, Data and/or Technology company. Sourcing, Procurement and Vendor Management experience a plus
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
    • Proven experience in drafting, negotiating, managing and administering contracts
    • Ability to interact and work with team members in varying levels within the company, including shareholders, external partners, managers, staff, and contract workers
    • Knowledge of any legal requirements associated with contracts
    • Organizational and analytical skills
    • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to pinpoint mistakes
    • Excellent written communication skills
    • Strong collaboration, time-management, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
    • Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Products including Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
