As a data scientist and a part of Dun & Bradstreet’s Analytics team, you will play a critical role in supporting our data science initiatives, engaging with clients and colleagues to identify business needs, and contributing to the development and implementation of analytical solutions. Additionally, you will use data science techniques to automate and scale our analytic capabilities as well as validate our predictive scores and recommend changes when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in utilizing data science techniques, including supervised and unsupervised machine learning, Natural Language Processing, and graph analysis, to automate and scale internal business processes.
- Provide technical/subject matter expertise in various analytical tasks, including design, development, validation, calibration, documentation, implementation, monitoring, and reporting.
- Assist in developing global analytic solutions, including statistical models, based on established best practices, methodologies, and tools.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide analytical support.
- Engage with clients and colleagues to identify business needs and contribute to the development, implementation, and management of analytical solutions.
- Research business issues and recommend solutions, including model inputs and end products, focusing on specific customer needs and use cases.
- Provide analysis and drive modern solutions and efficiencies in our processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on data compilation, analysis, and quality assurance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics/Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field. Master’s Degree is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience with Python, SQL, or similar.
- Strong technical aptitude with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar is a plus.
- Ability to interpret and translate data into meaningful business insight.
- Results-oriented and capable of working independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to operate with a sense of urgency and meet critical deadlines.
- Excellent organization, decision-making, and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

- Fluency in English and one of Scandinavian languages.
