The Data Acquisition Manager - Trade data will nurture relationships with contributors and partners in order to achieve yearly data acquisition targets: create, follow up leads, define contractual relationship and onboard contributors to the Trade Program

The Data Acquisition Manager will have global accountability of one of 4 key operating teams within the global trade team organization

Job Summary:

    • The Trade Data Acquisition Manager will lead by example and develop a team of contributors, organize their work, motivate them, timely transfer information and support them to perform and reach objectives
    • Contribute to the global trade strategy by defining a clear, simple and well thought through plan how to develop strategic global and local accounts and make them grow in the long term
    • Create long lasting relationships with partners in the portfolio, contribute to educate and help them leverage insights provided by D&B products and put in place necessary retention actions in order to keep them in the program that have stopped contributing their data
    • Partner with key external partners as well as internal stakeholders to help execute on an agreed plan – this may involve making effective business cases internally, influencing and helping to close agreements with partners.
    • Own and drive overall acquisition performance; drive and achieve all KPI’s and goals as set by the head of trade. Report back progress against goals accurately and make remedial proposals to improve overall results.

Responsibilities:

    • Develop data exchange partnership with Software and service providers to 'Small-to-medium Businesses' - SMB
    • Develop productive collaboration agreements with Associations and Professional bodies.
    • Develop and execute a plan to expand trade and PAYDEX (commercial credit score) coverage.
    • This Trade Data Acquisition Manager will grow with a pre-existing team and eventually develop/lead a small team in the United States

Experience:

    • 8-12 Years of relevant Information Technology/SaaS sales or selling experience
    • Data acquisition or sales background preferred, achieved in a peer organization or preferably in Service or Financial Industry.
    • Proven ability to drive end results - with a track record of  executing against and owning plans.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead them ‘end to end’ with clear results.
    • Proven ability to make decisions quickly, avoid distractions and develop efficient processes
    • Ability to manage a high-volume workload at a fast pace with strong attention to detail and a high bar for quality and delivery.
    • Analytical, disciplined, data-oriented decision maker and problem solver.
    • Strong bias toward decisive action.
    • Strong organizational skills.
$86,600 - $152,400 a year
This role is bonus eligible.
