About the role:
Dun & Bradstreet International Technology team is looking for a high performing
Project Manager. You will be responsible for the successful completion of technical software projects, from needs assessment to the delivery of the solution. You will be responsible for projects delivered by multiple development teams using cutting-edge data processing capabilities to produce high-quality, innovative solutions (include Java, BigData technologies, AWS cloud services and more).
You will be part of a team working in a stimulating, collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement within an agile development process, delivering creative, high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Stakeholder relationships - Work closely with business partners, and global technology teams to ensure that individual solutions meet the defined business needs
- Customer communications - Co-ordinate between all teams involved in the development of the project. This will involve co-ordination between multiple interdependent projects
- Portfolio Management - Ensure that project plans and forecasts, risk mitigation and status reports are prepared by the development owner during the software development life cycle and track development spend against the project budgets and deliverable dates
- Subject Matter Expertise - Significant experience in all technology related activity, identifying scenarios, evaluating opportunities and articulating the risks and benefits
What we're looking for
- Strong relationship skills and demonstrated ability to communicate and influence.
- Ability to learn new areas quickly, take ownership of issues/projects, develop recommendations, and execute on strategies. The ability to manage a portfolio of work on behalf of the International Business
- Knowledge of methodologies such as PRINCE2 or PMP with a good understanding of Agile software development from conception of initial requirements through to delivery, maintenance and support.
- Exposure to any Public Cloud (preferably GCP / AWS) based development projects would be an advantage
- Communication - Expresses information, ideas and thoughts in clear, concise and compelling manner. Able to adjust communication styles based on the audience. Keeps relevant parties updated with information. Previous experience of working Internationally, across cultures.
- Leadership - Demonstrates the ability to lead. co-ordinate and influence cross functionally and across organisations to determine solutions to meet the business goals. Involves others in decision making, shares information.
- Influence - Able to persuade others and gain consensus to promote actions, using data or logic to influence others. Understands others in terms of position, intentions and needs (what their interests are and how to motivate them). Builds effective relationships, using diplomacy and tact.
- Problem Analysis - Demonstrated experience in identifying customer and business problems. Anticipates or recognizes the existence of problems; identifying the true nature of problems by breaking down and assessing each part to accurately determine the underlying causes of problems and gather appropriate information to help solve them.
- Business acumen - for identifying technology disrupters or business gaps
- Keeps Pace - Adaptable to changes with proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with a track record of successful and consistent delivery. Self-motivated and confident to work independently, taking initiative and pushing through obstacles to get things done.
- Proactive and Resourceful - Thinks ahead and anticipates potential problems or roadblocks and plans for them. Able to anticipate where help or support may be needed and engage those resources.
- Availability for occasional travel to support the role
