As a Warehouse Inventory Control Clerk at DN Tanks, you will maintain an accurate warehouse inventory and recording data related to inventory and equipment.  Working closely with the Warehouse Manager, you will become an integral member of the warehouse team, alongside the warehouse and local procurement teams.  

Primary Responsibilities

    • Monitor and maintain current inventory of consumables, equipment and tools
    • Execute transactions in Spectrum inclusive of uploading bill of materials, packing list quantity entry for material receipts, cycle counts, inventory transactions, and equipment deployment
    • Produce daily count sheets for warehousemen to prepare orders for shipment
    • Monitor metrics associated with inventory counts, reorder points, and equipment availability
    • Work with department manager and procurement to replenish inventory of consumables, equipment and tools based upon established minimums and maximums
    • Prepare FedEx & LTL shipments using third party software; package shipments for delivery
    • Assist warehouse manager with development & documentation of operational, safety, and quality control related policies and procedures

    • Ability to conduct root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies

Required Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • 1 – 3 years of inventory control experience
    • Previous data entry/warehouse operations experience required
    • Experience with computer-based inventory systems
    • Working knowledge of cycle counting within an active warehouse
    • Knowledge of small package and LTL (Less than Truckload) shipping
    • High energy and proven ability to drive for results
    • Bilingual Spanish/English

Physical Requirements

    • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
    • Must be able to do light lifting and bending
    • Must be able to navigate an active warehouse and reach items both high and low
    • Must be able to work indoor/outdoor
