About This Opportunity:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Field Events Specialist to join the team at Docebo. In this role, you will support the planning, execution, and analysis of field events that drive lead generation, revenue acceleration, brand awareness and attendee engagement. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about events, loves to travel, and understands how in person experiences drive business & revenue growth. This role sits on the Global Events Team within the Marketing organization, and will work closely with input from our ABM Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Planning & Coordination:
- Develop and execute field events, including regional trade shows, conferences, seminars, and events.
- Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, vendor management, event materials, and on-site setup.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product marketing, and customer success, to ensure event alignment with company goals.
- Collaborate with the account-based marketing team to execute strategic field events that support sellers as they nurture target accounts.
- Event Promotion & Communication:
- Support the promotion of events through email marketing, social media, and other digital channels.
- Manage registration processes and communication with attendees before, during, and after events.
- On-site Event Support:
- Provide on-site event coordination, including managing event staff, overseeing registration, and ensuring smooth event execution.
- Serve as a point of contact for attendees, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Post-Event Follow-Up:
- Assist in the collection and analysis of event data, including lead generation, attendee feedback, and overall event effectiveness.
- Help prepare post-event reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Budget Management:
- Track and manage event budgets, ensuring all expenditures are documented and within approved limits.
- Vendor & Partner Relationships:
- Build and maintain relationships with external vendors, including event venues, catering services, and promotional item suppliers.
- Coordinate with partners to ensure their involvement and satisfaction with joint events.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Preferred - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 3 + years of experience in Event Marketing or a related role in Field Marketing.
- Must have a valid passport & be able to travel.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
- Understands the metrics used to assess the effectiveness of an event (qualified leads, pipeline, sales velocity acceleration) and how to measure them.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management software.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Cvent HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce).
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana,).
