About This Opportunity:

The Principal Solutions Architect (PSA) is the most senior individual contributor role within the Solutions Architecture team. Acting as a strategic technical advisor, the PSA drives complex solution design, influences departmental strategy, and serves as a mentor and coach to the broader SA and CSE team.

This role is engaged in the highest complexity opportunities, strategic initiatives, and acts as an escalation point for solution risk mitigation.

While not directly responsible for people management, the PSA plays a pivotal leadership role by elevating the team's technical capabilities, aligning enterprise architecture best practices, and influencing both customer outcomes and internal product strategy.

Responsibilities:

    • Lead and architect the most complex, high-value, or strategically significant pre-sales and customer solution requirements. Owning the technical direction for strategic opportunities and, where appropriate, supporting the wider Solution Architecture team on their own engagements.
    • Serve as an escalation point for technical solutioning pre-sales risks and critical customer engagements.
    • Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and development support to Solutions Architects and Customer Sales Engineers.
    • Design and lead technical enablement initiatives, knowledge-sharing sessions, and architecture reviews.
    • Act as a senior contributor in cross-functional working groups (Product, Security, Professional Services) to align solutions with Docebo's business needs.
    • Provide strategic feedback to Product Management based on industry trends, customer challenges, and architectural patterns encountered in the field.
    • Engage in go-to-market planning for new features or services requiring complex solution positioning.
    • Contribute to defining architectural standards, reusable design patterns, or materials for the SA team.
    • Represent Docebo in customer-facing executive briefings, technical advisory sessions, and industry events where technical leadership is critical.
    • Review and validate complex Statements of Work (SOWs), ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with product capabilities and services.
    • Proactively identify systemic risks in sales opportunities or deployments and drive resolution plans.

Requirements:

    • Significant experience in Solutions Architecture, Pre-Sales Engineering, or equivalent technical leadership roles
    • Experience in SaaS or Enterprise Software. HCM or Learning is a plus!
    • Proven expertise in designing enterprise-grade solutions involving APIs, integration frameworks, SSO, security protocols (OAuth, SAML), and cloud architecture.
    • Demonstrated experience mentoring and developing technical teams with/without formal people management responsibilities.
    • Strong knowledge of data privacy, compliance frameworks, and regulatory landscapes (GDPR, ISO27001, SOC2).
    • Exceptional communication skills, able to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders including C-Level executives.
    • Experience authoring SOWs, RFIs/RFPs, and engaging in complex contract negotiations from a technical standpoint.
    • Fluent English but other European languages is a big plus!
    • Experience working in complex SaaS sales cycles with multi-year enterprise deals.
    • Ability to travel up to 30%
