About This Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Web Development to join our dynamic Revenue Marketing team at Docebo. In this role, you will take ownership of our web strategy and work collaboratively across multiple teams—Brand, Product Marketing, and Creative—to drive exceptional web experiences that attract, inspire, engage, and convert customers. You will develop data-driven strategies, manage web projects, and optimize our site performance to support customer acquisition, retention, and overall growth.
The ideal candidate is a leader with a proven track record in owning and executing sophisticated web strategies in fast-paced, cross-functional environments. You possess a deep understanding of web development, website performance, website migrations, and the technical aspects of website management. Your leadership, problem-solving skills, and data-driven approach will be instrumental in enhancing the user experience across our digital channels.
Responsibilities:
- Web Strategy Development: Own the overarching web strategy, collaborating with key stakeholders on everything from site updates and landing page experiences to testing and optimization, to improve conversion rates and drive growth.
- Site Management & Technical Oversight: Oversee the implementation and management of web infrastructure, including CMS updates, site performance optimization, development roadmap, hosting and infrastructure, third party integrations, JS tag deployment, technical bugs, and web development best practices (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Ensure compliance with web accessibility standards and other regulations.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Marketing, Web Engineering, Product, Creative, and Analytics teams to ensure site experiences align with campaigns, product launches, and customer needs.
- Optimization & Testing: Partner with A/B testing team to help facilitate tests for user experience, site performance, and conversion rates. Implement personalization strategies to tailor web experiences based on audience needs.
- SEO & Content Management: Partner with the SEO team to enhance site visibility and ensure that content and site architecture are optimized for organic traffic. Oversee content creation and management, ensuring accuracy, cultural relevance, and compliance with regional regulations.
- Performance Analytics: Establish KPIs, track website performance, and generate actionable insights. Continuously monitor and analyze web metrics around page load times, core web vitals, mobile performance, uptime, and more.
- Governance & Best Practices: Establish and maintain web governance frameworks, including technical requirements, processes, and quality standards. Partner with IT and development teams to ensure the website’s functionality, security, and performance meet business goals.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience leading integrated web strategy and managing large-scale, complex websites, preferably in tech, consumer finance, or a B2B SaaS environment.
- 3+ years in a team lead role, with the ability to influence and manage cross-functional teams and deliver results in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.
- Deep understanding of web technologies, including CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Sitecore), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and API integrations.
- Strong understanding of UX design principles, including wireframing, user journeys, and usability testing to ensure intuitive and engaging website navigation, layout, and overall user satisfaction.
- Functional understanding of SEO best practices and technical SEO levers.
- Strong data-driven mindset, with the ability to leverage analytics and consumer insights to inform and evolve web strategies.
- Demonstrated success in website optimization and personalization to enhance user experiences and drive conversions.
- Exceptional project management skills with experience managing website migration projects and other large web initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present strategies, insights, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in managing vendor relationships, ensuring third-party integrations align with business needs.
- Familiarity with web accessibility standards, compliance regulations, and localization strategies for global markets.
