Role Overview:
As a Market Research Analyst at Docsumo, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and evaluating market opportunities, conducting thorough analyses of industry trends, and providing valuable insights to drive strategic decision-making. Your research will contribute to the company's growth strategies and market expansion efforts.



Responsibilties

    • Conduct comprehensive market & database research – accounts and contacts research to identify potential areas for growth and new market segments.
    • Analyze 1st & 3rd party intent data, industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior to uncover opportunities and challenges.
    • Researching and Identifying key decision making contacts and their contact details for assigned sets of major accounts for the US region.
    • Gather and interpret data related to customer needs, preferences, and pain points.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research findings into actionable strategies.
    • Support the development of marketing plans and product positioning based on market insights.
    • Monitor and report on market dynamics, regulatory changes, and competitive advancements.
    • Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends within the Document AI and automation sector.
    • Assist in the creation of marketing materials, presentations, and reports based on research findings.
    • Managing database in MIS on a day to day basis
    • Work on CRMs like Hubspot & search engines, other database tools, etc.
    • Work closely with the Business teams such as Marketing and Sales to prioritize business and information needs

Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
    • Has proven experience as a Market Research Analyst or similar role for a minimum of 2 years in the tech industry.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret complex data sets.
    • Proficiency in utilizing market research tools and techniques to extract meaningful insights.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear presentation of findings.
    • Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset and the ability to think critically.
    • Familiarity with Document AI, automation, and technology trends is a plus.
    • Team player with the capability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
