Based in Southern California with locations in Malibu, Calabasas, Westlake Village and Camarillo; HRL has been on the leading edge of technology, conducting pioneering research and advancing the state of the art. 


Essential Duties:
Creating forecasts for materials requirements, based on firm or planned demand
Communicating with procurement regarding order status and changes in delivery dates or quantities
Coordinating with other departments such as engineering and procurement to ensure that materials are available when needed
Reviewing materials inventory levels and ordering additional quantities when necessary
Managing inventory of materials by storing items in denied locations and/or distributing them to point of use
Making sure that materials are kitted and delivered on time
Preparing reports on material usage and cost trends over time

Required Skills:
Minimum 6 years of professional experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment (preferably aerospace)
Minimum 3 years of scheduling experience in in a Discrete Manufacturing Environment
Knowledge of production processes and quality control
Math and analytical skills
Technical skills using material requirements planning and scheduling software
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with all levels of employees
Organizational and time-management skills.
Demonstrated experience in using MS Office suite products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to interface and influence at all levels of a program and organization
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to thrive in a deadline-oriented environment
Displays exemplary ethics and business conduct, and performs work cognizant of safe work practices

Required Education:
BS in Business Administration or related fields, or BS in Industrial Engineering

Special Requirements:
US Citizenship
AS9100D CostPoint ERP on-job training will be required
6 Sigma Yellow belt

Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $99,705 - $124,683 + bonus + benefits.
