Job Overview:
The Strategic and Operational Data Analytics Manager is responsible for leading the development and execution of data analytics strategies that support the organization's business objectives and enhance operational performance. This role involves both strategic planning and hands-on management of data analytics functions to drive data-driven decision-making and optimize business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Data Analytics:
Strategy Development - Develop and implement data analytics strategies that align with the organization’s strategic goals and business objectives.
Stakeholder Collaborations - Partner with senior leadership and key stakeholders to identify critical business questions and opportunities where data analytics can provide actionable insights.
Data-Driven Decision Making - Advise on and support strategic initiatives with data-driven recommendations, including market analysis, competitive intelligence, and business forecasting.
2. Operational Data Analytics Management:
Data Management - Oversee the daily management of data analytics processes, ensuring accurate and efficient data collection, processing, and analytics.
Tool and System Oversight - Manage the implementation and optimization of analytics tools and platforms (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BT) to enhance data accessibility and usability.
Date Quality - Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of date through robust data governance practices and quality control measures.
3. Analytical Insights and Reporting:
Insight Generation - Oversee the daily management of date analytics processes, ensuring accurate and efficient data collection, processing and analysis.
Reporting - Create and present regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and visualizations that communicate key findings and trends to stakeholders at various levels.
Performance Metrics - Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics to assess and improve operational performance and business outcomes.
4. Project Management:
Project Leadership - Manage data analytics projects from conception through implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely delivery.
Cross Functional Collaboration - Work with cross-functional teams to ensure analytics projects meet operational needs and are integrated into business processes.
Resource Allocation - Oversee the allocation of resources, including team members and tools, to effectively support analytics initiatives.
5. Team Leadership and Development:
Team Management - Lead and mentor a team of data analysts and data scientists, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Skill Development - Provide training and professional development opportunities to enhance the team's analytical capabilities and knowledge.
Performance Monitoring - Set performance goals, conduct evaluations, and provide feedback to team members to ensure high-quality output and continuous improvement.
6. Data Security and Compliance:
Data Protection - Ensure the security and confidentiality of data in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
Compliance - Monitor and enforce compliance with data protection regulations and standards to safeguard sensitive information.
Audit and Assessment - Conduct regular audits to assess data practices and address any issues related to data security and compliance.
7. Continuous Improvement:
Innovation - Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics and business intelligence to recommend and implement improvements.
Process Optimization - Identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of data analytics operations.

Qualifications:
Education - Master's degree from Ivy league school in data science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional) highly preferred.
Experience - 5-7 years of experience in data analytics, including experience in a managerial or leadership role, preferably in a fast-paced business environment.
Skills Requirement - Expertise in data analytics tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
Experience with data management, data governance, and data visualization techniques.
Proven ability to manage projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and lead a team of data professionals.
