We are seeking an experienced Mid-Level Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in data analysis, with proficiency in AWS services such as Glue, EMR with Spark, and EKS. As a Mid-Level Data Analyst, you will be responsible for leading data analysis efforts, designing and implementing ETL processes, and providing actionable insights to drive business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead data analysis projects from conception to delivery, ensuring high-quality and timely results.
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using AWS Glue to extract, transform, and load data into data lakes or warehouses.
- Utilize AWS EMR with Spark for processing and analyzing large-scale datasets efficiently.
- Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to visualize insights and support decision-making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical tasks.
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices in data analysis and AWS services.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve data quality, efficiency, and scalability.
- Stay updated with the latest tools, technologies, and trends in data analytics and cloud computing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, with a strong understanding of ETL processes and data modeling.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Glue, EMR with Spark, and EKS.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with complex datasets.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Requirements
- AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty certification.
- Experience with other AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Athena, etc.
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
- Proven track record of delivering data-driven insights that have impacted business outcomes.
