Role Overview : We're looking for a QA Engineer with 2–5 years of experience in automation testing using Selenium and Python. While Selenium is our current stack, we're open to candidates with experience in other tools such as Cypress or Playwright as well.
The role involves working on our automation framework, which also includes API testing—so hands-on experience with APIs is required. We're looking for someone who has designed and implemented automation frameworks, is comfortable with version control tools like Bitbucket and Git, and Familiarity with PyTest is a bonus.
Additionally, since we work with embedded systems that involve hardware components, any experience testing such systems will be a strong plus. Experience integrating automated tests into Ci/CD pipelines is also an added plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using Selenium and Python (or equivalent tools like Cypress, Playwright)
- Integrate and maintain API tests as part of the automation suite
- Build and scale robust automation frameworks for maintainability and efficiency
- Collaborate with Product, development and QA teams to understand features and define test coverage
- Troubleshoot test failures and contribute to debugging across hardware and software layers

- Contribute to CI/CD workflows by integrating automated tests into pipelines

Requirement
- 2–5 years of experience in automation testing using Selenium and Python
- Experience with other automation tools like Cypress or Playwright is also acceptable
- Hands-on experience with API testing as part of test automation
- Experience designing and implementing automated test frameworks
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Bitbucket and Git
- Understanding of QA processes and Agile testing methodologies
Nice to have
- Experience with PyTest for test script
- Exposure to embedded systems or hardware-software integration testing
- Experience integrating automation tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Basic understanding of Linux commands and system-level debugging
