Please note this is a 100% remote position
As a UX Designer with Dragon Army, you’ll be responsible for informing UX strategy and user requirements, and creating both low and high fidelity prototypes to document the user experience. You’ll plan and facilitate user tests, and document findings. You’ll be part of a highly collaborative fast-paced team that embraces change. You’ll get to explore new technology, and create user experiences that are elegant, engaging, and just plain fun.
Responsibilities
- Participate in client workshops and stakeholder sessions to define UX strategy
- Facilitate the client’s product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products
- Design and deliver detailed and annotated wireframes and prototypes optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces
- Evaluate and document product usability, competitive landscapes, and customer journeys
- Present concepts and research to both client and project teams to ensure alignment on UX direction
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders
- Research and showcase knowledge in the industry’s latest trends and technologies
- Ask smart questions, take risks and champion new ideas.
Required Skills and Experience
- Three or more years of UX design experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments.
- Expertise in standard UX software such as Sketch, Figma, Axure or similar is a must. Sketch is our current design tool of choice, with exceptions made based on client request
- Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision.
- Experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and an understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
- A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), design thinking, planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns
- Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients
- Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model, to regularly deliver design solutions for approval
- Be passionate about resolving user pain points through great design
- Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism
- Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation
