Senior Scientist, Antibody Generation
Dragonfly Therapeutics seeks a highly motivated and talented protein scientist with structural biology background to join the Biologics team and make significant contributions to development of therapies using a novel immune-oncology platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for protein engineering, modeling, purification and in-depth characterization of different bispecific and trispecific antibody drug candidates.
·         Play a key role in designing and developing formats for bispecific and trispecific antibody generation
·         Facilitate antibody discovery and characterization projects through internal resources and CROs
·         Design and perform assays to assess developability profile of different drug candidates
·         Work closely and interface collaboratively with other groups in a multidisciplinary company
·         Train junior personnel
Basic Qualifications:
·         Ph.D. in Structural Biology, Biochemistry or related discipline with 3+ years of   industry experience with emphasis on protein structure, molecular modeling, purification, characterization and properties optimization of antibody based therapeutics.
·         Demonstrated expertise and in-depth understanding of antibody discovery, characterization, sequence optimization and generation of multi-specifics biologics
·         Hands on experience with molecular modeling, detailed knowledge of sequence liabilities and direct experience with optimization of mono-specific and bispecific molecules
·         Working knowledge of BioIuminate, MOA or similar modeling software
·         Extensive experience in purification of mono- and bispecific antibodies, receptors and ligands using affinity, IEX, SEC, HIC, CHT, RP chromatography.
·         Hands-on experience with SPR (Biacore 8K, T200), DSF and DSC
·         Experience with analytical characterization techniques such as SEC, IEX, HIC, RP-HPLC, SEC-MALS
·         Deep understanding of developability profiling for biologics
·         Strong publications and/or proven record of optimizing large molecules and multi-specific formats
·         Knowledge of immunology/oncology  is highly desirable
