Director of Inside Sales

DrChrono is hiring a Director of Inside Sales to play a key role in managing and coaching a team of quota-carrying Inside Sales Representatives to promote professional growth and attain pipeline revenue targets. Leading by example, the Director of Inside Sales will be responsible for measuring, overseeing, and holding Inside Sales Reps accountable for their daily activities, results, and professional development. The role requires strong leadership skills with a proven ability to deliver results. This role is located in DrChrono’s Sunnyvale, CA office and will report to the VP of Sales.

In this role you will...

    • Be responsible for leading and supporting a rapidly growing team of Inside Sales Reps
    • Continue to build and strengthen your team through recruiting, hiring, and development strategies
    • Oversee day-to-day activity of all Inside Sales Reps and monitor performance goals while providing ongoing feedback, coaching, and guidance through weekly 1:1s or ad hoc discussions
    • Lead and schedule weekly and/or monthly team meetings with the Inside Sales Team
    • Track Inside Sales team metrics and report data to leadership on a regular basis
    • Partner with sales leadership to ensure the team is meeting pipeline expectations
    • Develop and hold regular training workshops, focusing on call coaching, pipeline management, countering objections, product demonstrations, value selling and other Inside Sales Rep responsibilities
    • Inspire and motivate employees on a daily basis and recognize and reward accomplishments and contributions
    • Develop and refine best practices and ensure adherence to Salesforce usage and data integrity
    • Proactively identify opportunities for inside sales process improvement and work with reps to strategize and establish next steps for closing leads, including creating outreach strategies, refining effective messaging and ensuring the timely execution of these follow-up campaigns
    • Support Sales Rep team growth by developing and/or maintaining content for onboarding, training, scripts, and playbooks
    • Stay up to date on drchrono’s product and services, industry intelligence and challenges, and client needs

You have...

    • 5+ years experience leading a team of Sales Reps in a high-tech start-up environment
    • 5+ year experience in Salesforce
    • A deep love for technology and a constant desire to learn new things
    • Knowledge of SaaS and/or subscription-based business sales models
    • High energy, company first, positive attitude: Passionate about this opportunity and making a massive impact in the healthcare world
    • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting using Salesforce and/or other sales tools
    • Ability to mentor and coach the development of others with success coaching top performing teams
    • Proven track record of consistently exceeding against quota and outlined metrics
    • Ability to establish a deep understanding of the professional motivators of others, leveraging this knowledge to inspire a team
    • Powerful communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, in person or on the phone
    • Flexibility to work unpredictable hours in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple needs at once with exceptional organization and time management skills and strong business acumen
    • Critical thinking skills to understand issues that are relevant for prospects and to drchrono, to drive towards desired outcomes
    • Desire to provide a superior level of accuracy, consistency, and work quality
    • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service oriented with ability to partner with leaders and individuals at all levels and to work within a team
    • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
