Position Summary:
Welcomes our guests in an attentive and enthusiastic fashion. Smiles and presents professional appearance. Provides great hospitality and service of beverage and snack items while inputting/processing both written and digital guest transactions. Works with other staff members to influence customer flow, timely service, and meet guest’s needs. Maintains a clean and sanitized work area in accordance with company quality standards. Assists in the daily ordering/transportation of food and beverage product and supplies. Submits daily cash/credit reports and deposits.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
· Greet guests with a warm, sincere smile and anticipate their needs.
· Knowledge of all beverage, snack, alcohol, tobacco, and retail items carried.
· Arrange and set up beverages, mixes, supplies, and accurate displays in an efficient and professional manner, according to department specifications.
· Prepare all drinks according to department standards, including the proper pouring method and garnishment.
· Follow all steps of service as covered in training.
· Do not over serve guests and immediately seek out management with any concerns about a guest that may appear intoxicated.
· Promptly and accurately record and process all guest transactions via point of sale and room charge.
· Responsible for the security and reconciliation of the cash bag.
· Secure management approval for any comps, voids or automatic gratuity.
· Follow restaurant specific comp, spill and waste recording guidelines.
· Use tact and good judgment when dealing with difficult guests. Respond to their needs with patience and courtesy.
· Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures.
· Regularly maintain cleanliness of workstation, equipment, restrooms, and storage areas. Ensure these areas are ready for the following shift.
· Move safely through all areas of assigned workstation and main clubhouse, which may include stairs, uneven and slick surfaces.
· Must wash hands regularly throughout shift, according to guidelines.
· Comply with applicable health, food, beverage, alcohol, tobacco, fire and other laws/requirements.
· Safely and effectively use knives and other utensils/equipment necessary to complete set up of workstation and service as well as necessary to this position.
· Following training and procedures, accurately perform, log, and submit daily requisition forms
· Ensure safe and responsible transportation of all food, beverage, and supply items from clubhouse, kitchen, and storage areas.
· Ensure that department cost controls and inventory procedures are consistently followed.
· Maintain adequate supply of product, administrative, cleaning, and kitchen supplies.
· Understand and complete all side work as assigned.
· Be able to stand and walk for an entire shift.
· Communicate cordially, effectively, and clearly with all employees, managers and guests.
· Communicate in English in order to comprehend and perform/follow job requirements in written and spoken direction.
· Perform more than one task at a time.
· Maintain a positive, pleasant attitude throughout every shift.
· Accept direction and constructive criticism from management.
· Perform calmly and effectively in an extremely busy and stressful work environment.
· Be able to give and take direction, and work effectively within a team.
· Be able to work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including weekends and increased work schedules.
· May be exposed, from time to time, to inclement weather, potentially dangerous pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, equipment movement hazards, and misdirected golf balls.
· Lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
· Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
· High School diploma preferred.
· Must be 18 years of age at time of employment.
· 1-year experience in Food & Beverage preferred.
· Demonstrated quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
· Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including holidays/nights/weekends.
· Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.
· All Staff required to take Learn2Serve Training on Alcohol, Tobacco, and Food Handling.
· Ability to be handle and serve products containing tobacco or alcohol.
· Valid driver’s license.
