Are you interested in helping our guests in the selection and purchase of merchandise? As a Retail Associate, you will stock inventory and maintain store-to-company merchandising standards. You will assist guests with questions and be able to operate a point of sales system.

Bandon Dunes is a world-class golf resort located on the Oregon Coast near the charming community of Bandon. Guests come to experience golf as it was meant to be at Bandon Dunes' six distinct golf courses. That includes five 18-hole courses, which all rank among the top 16 public courses in the United States, according to Golf Digest. The resort is also home to an award-winning par-3 course, Bandon Preserve. A second par-3 course, Shorty's, will open in 2024. The two short courses are 'Courses with a Mission,' with all net proceeds funding the Bandon Dunes Charitable Foundation. The Foundation supports communities along the South Coast of Oregon.

🏌️ 🎯 👨🍳🍽️ Responsibilities that Await You:
- Familiarize oneself with the merchandise in the gift shop and provide recommendations to guests
- Process sales transactions accurately, including collecting payments and issuing receipts
- Answer phones in a courteous manner and provide information to guests regarding events, activities, and policies
- Assist with inventory management tasks such as unpacking, arranging displays, and conducting monthly inventory counts
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the shop and storage areas to company standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned
🔑Qualifications:
- Preferably 1 year of experience in a golf shop or similar customer service/retail sales environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 30lbs
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and ability to multitask under pressure
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends
- Professional demeanor and appearance at all times
💪 Physical Requirements:
- Ability to read and write in English
- Effective verbal communication with colleagues and customers
- Capability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Visual inspection of work areas
- Capacity to lift, push, pull, stand, sit, walk, grasp, bend, and kneel for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally, 10 lbs frequently, and 5 lbs constantly
