Are you able to multi-task early in the morning? Do you enjoy a small team environment? Bandon Dunes Golf Resort seeks a Caddie Café Attendant to join our team. If you have experience in the food industry, a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you! This will be a part-time position that starts early in the morning.
About Bandon Dunes Golf Resort:
Bandon Dunes is a world-class golf resort located on the Oregon Coast near the charming community of Bandon. Guests come to experience golf as it was meant to be at Bandon Dunes' six distinct golf courses. That includes five 18-hole courses, which all rank among the top 16 public courses in the United States, according to Golf Digest. The resort is also home to an award-winning par-3 course, Bandon Preserve. A second par-3 course, Shorty's, will open in 2024. The two short courses are 'Courses with a Mission,' with all net proceeds funding the Bandon Dunes Charitable Foundation. The Foundation supports communities along the South Coast of Oregon.

🍽️ Responsibilities that Await You: As a Caddie Café Cook and Attendant, your main responsibilities will include:
- Cooking and preparing food and beverage items in accordance with resort recipes and standards.
- Ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment and utensils used.
- Restocking supplies and food products as needed.
- Greeting and serving guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the Caddie Food Center.
- Managing equipment operations, turning them on/off as required.
- Removing garbage at the end of each day.
- Counting and balancing cash drawer and receipts.
- Submitting required reports in a timely manner.
- Performing other appropriate duties as assigned.
💪 Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the food industry.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Positive attitude, professional manner, and appearance in all situations.
- Proficiency in mathematical calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages.
- Ability to retrieve, read, and interpret information from technical sources.
🔧 Equipment Used:
- In this role, you will be working with general cooking equipment daily. Additionally, you will be exposed to sharp utensils, extremely hot stoves, and grills, rapid equipment movements, hot food, and potentially dangerous chemicals and solvents. There may also be occasional exposure to inclement weather, hazardous substances, and misdirected golf balls.
