Mt. Enterprise, TX
Wild Spring Dunes – Agronomy /
Full Time Regular /
On-site
Want to be the go-to person who helps build something beautiful every day? We're looking for a Foreman who can guide and train crew members while maintaining world-class golf courses in one of Texas's most stunning natural settings. This isn't a desk job – you'll be hands-on, mentoring greenkeepers, and ensuring every detail of our grounds meets resort standards.

About Wild Spring Dunes
Wild Spring Dunes will be a public golf resort and refuge with world-class golf, accommodations, and homesites. Two courses are routed with plans established for a short course and practice center.

Set on over 2,400 sandy, secluded acres, here you will find dramatic elevation changes that highlight four distinct and diverse ecosystems: towering pines and hardwood forest, open, grassy meadows, rolling hills, and steep ravines carved by spring-fed creeks that crawl through the secluded site. Wild Spring Dunes is an escape, a destination, a place to come together in community – a home for golf and wilderness lovers alike.

What You’ll Do:

    • Shape something beautiful every single day. You'll work alongside a team of greenkeepers who care for our courses and grounds. This isn't about sitting back and directing – you'll be out there with your hands dirty, showing people how it's done and making sure every detail meets resort standards.
    • Guide and develop people. You'll spend real time training crew members on course maintenance and project execution. When someone struggles with a technique or needs to learn new equipment, you'll be the one helping them get better at their craft.
    • Plan work that actually makes sense. You'll partner with supervisors to create staffing schedules that meet quality goals without burning people out. When a project needs doing, you'll figure out the most efficient way to get it done right.
    • Keep everyone safe and accountable. You'll maintain high safety standards, ensure OSHA compliance, and keep accurate records of labor, equipment, and inventory. When something's not working safely, you'll fix it before someone gets hurt.
    • Master the tools of the trade. You'll operate and maintain everything from greens mowers to backhoes, and teach others to do the same. When equipment needs minor repairs, you'll handle it. When it needs major work, you'll know when to call in help.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

    • You have crew leadership experience. This role requires prior supervisory or crew leadership experience. You know how to guide people, train them effectively, and set a good example – even if you're not formally their boss.
    • You're comfortable with early mornings and changing weather. Shifts typically start at 5:00 AM, and you'll work weekends and holidays when needed. You don't mind being outside when it's hot, cold, or wet.
    • You can handle multiple moving pieces. You'll juggle training, maintenance projects, safety compliance, and record-keeping with minimal supervision. You're organized enough to keep track of it all and flexible enough to adapt when priorities shift.
    • You communicate clearly. You can read technical manuals, interpret specifications, and explain complex tasks to your team. You're equally comfortable talking to crew members and resort management.
    • You have a clean driving record. You'll be operating various vehicles and equipment, so a valid driver's license and clean record are non-negotiable.
If you're someone who takes pride in developing people and creating beautiful outdoor spaces, we'd like to hear from you. This role reports to our Agronomy team and offers the chance to lead meaningful work in one of the most stunning natural settings you'll ever see.
