Join the team at Bandon Dunes as a Food & Beverage Event Liaison. This role orchestrates the magic behind our special event bookings and PGA package dinners. You'll be at the heart of generating new business, maintaining client relationships, and driving additional revenue by up-selling our world-class facility products, services, and amenities. Collaborate closely with management to ensure our guests ' experiences are extraordinary. Your role includes managing guest amenity requests, focusing on VIPs, and supporting the F&B team's daily operations. As an advocate for excellence, you'll also play a key role in training our dedicated staff to deliver unparalleled service.

Bandon Dunes is a world-class golf resort located on the Oregon Coast near the charming community of Bandon. Guests come to experience golf as it was meant to be at Bandon Dunes' six distinct golf courses. That includes five 18-hole courses, which all rank among the top 16 public courses in the United States, according to Golf Digest. The resort is also home to an award-winning par-3 course, Bandon Preserve. A second par-3 course, Shorty's, will open in 2024. The two short courses are 'Courses with a Mission,' with all net proceeds funding the Bandon Dunes Charitable Foundation. The Foundation supports communities along the South Coast of Oregon.

🎯 Your Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional food and beverage service that meets Bandon Dunes high standards.
- Uphold the highest levels of presentation, service, facilities, and guest satisfaction.
- Process all F&B bookings/events, arrange unique dining options, and schedule Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) resort-wide.
- Conduct guest tours as needed.
- Schedule PGA package dinners and make necessary adjustments.
- Manage the resort's Restaurant Reservation program, ensuring balanced reservations across dining outlets.
- Maintain clear internal communication and guidelines to inform all departments about F&B events and information.
- Coordinate with the Executive Chef and kitchen staff on event details, menus, and pricing.
- Create and distribute special menus, update the website, and ensure proper departmental communication.
- Foster positive relationships and communicate effectively with all department heads to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Ensure adequate inventory of banquet service equipment and supplies.
- Assist with in-room amenity requests.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints following operating policies and procedures.
- Safeguard company assets and perform additional duties as required.
🔑 Qualifications:
- Oregon Food Handlers and Oregon Liquor Commission certifications.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree is preferred.
- Two years of relevant experience in F&B, with supervisory or management experience preferred. My experience in the golf industry and sales are a plus.
- Valid Oregon Driver'sDriver's License.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems is preferred.
- High initiative, flexibility, attention to detail, and commitment to superior guest service.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Professional demeanor and appearance in all situations.
💪 Physical Requirements:
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Effective verbal and written communication with staff and customers.
- Ability to give and follow instructions.
- Visual inspection of work areas.
- Operation of equipment for extended periods.
- Perform mathematical calculations.
- Stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
- Lift to 50 lbs occasionally, 30 lbs frequently, and 20 lbs regularly.

- Primarily indoor work in a restaurant/lounge/function room setting, with occasional outdoor work.

- Possible exposure to inclement weather, pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, equipment hazards, and golf balls.
- Adherence to safety policies and practices is crucial to prevent injury.
