About Bandon Dunes Golf Resort:
Bandon Dunes is a world-class golf resort located on the Oregon Coast near the charming community of Bandon. Guests come to experience golf as it was meant to be at Bandon Dunes' six distinct golf courses. That includes five 18-hole courses, which all rank among the top 16 public courses in the United States, according to Golf Digest. The resort is also home to an award-winning par-3 course, Bandon Preserve. A second par-3 course, Shorty's, will open in 2024. The two short courses are 'Courses with a Mission,' with all net proceeds funding the Bandon Dunes Charitable Foundation. The Foundation supports communities along the South Coast of Oregon.
Beyond premier golf, guests delight in a variety of dining options at Bandon Dunes’ collection of restaurants. Whether you're looking to enjoy locally-sourced, Pacific-Northwest cuisine accompanied by an award-winning wine list, or prefer kicking back in a Scottish-style setting with traditional pub fare and local microbrews, there is something for everyone.
Working at Bandon Dunes is a dream for golf fans, outdoor enthusiasts, and hospitality professionals alike. The Bandon Dunes team works together to create trips of a lifetime for our guests. We are passionate stewards of our resort, our community, and our environment. As an endlessly curious group, we ask questions, share ideas, and always look for a better way. With a hard-working attitude, we help guide our guests through their pure golf experience, immersed in Oregon’s natural beauty and away from the demands of daily life.
What You'll Do:
- Lead by example, not just by title. You'll work right alongside your crew while showing them the right way to maintain our courses. When someone needs training on equipment or techniques, you'll be the one teaching them. You'll help create work schedules that get the job done efficiently while keeping your team engaged.
- Keep our courses in great condition. You'll oversee daily maintenance work like mowing, fertilizing, and caring for turf, plants, and trees. You'll participate in construction projects and make sure every area of the course meets our high standards. When equipment needs adjustment or minor repairs, you'll handle it.
- Make safety a priority. You'll enforce all safety standards and ensure your team follows OSHA regulations. You'll maintain accurate records for maintenance work, equipment use, and safety activities. When you see something that could be safer or more efficient, you'll speak up.
- Develop your people. You'll train crew members on course maintenance and help them grow their skills.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- You have golf course experience. You've worked in golf course maintenance for at least a year and understand what it takes to keep turf healthy and playable. Any supervisory or leadership experience is helpful, but we care more about your ability to guide and teach others.
- You're a natural teacher and leader. You can explain technical concepts clearly, whether it's equipment operation or turf care techniques. You're comfortable giving direction and feedback while maintaining positive relationships with your crew.
- You solve problems and stay organized. You can handle multiple priorities, keep accurate records, and think through equipment or maintenance challenges. You're comfortable with basic math and can read technical manuals when needed.
- You're physically capable and safety-minded. This role involves operating equipment for hours at a time and lifting up to 50 pounds. You understand that working around chemicals, sharp equipment, and golf balls requires constant attention to safety procedures.
- You communicate well. You can give clear verbal and written instructions, coordinate with other departments, and handle the occasional guest interaction professionally.

- Comprehensive Benefits Package: Enjoy a well-rounded benefits package that covers your health, wellness, and financial future.
- Paid Time Off: Take the time you need to relax and recharge with our PTO plan.
