Property Description:
Sand Valley is a golf resort and community nestled gently on 12,000 acres of rugged, ancient sand dunes in central Wisconsin. Within Sand Valley, residents and visitors will discover five top-tier golf courses that blend seamlessly with the surroundings, warm and inviting hospitality, and a community of golf and nature enthusiasts who are captivated by the unspoiled beauty and tranquility of the expansive Wisconsin Wilderness. Sand Valley is expanding and currently offers four dining venues, multiple on-course grab-and-go locations, and an expanding cottage dining program. Additionally, new outlets are in various stages of development. Similar to other Dream Golf properties like Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, Sand Valley upholds the essence of golf in its true form.

Sand Valley offers guests a taste of the region with farm-to-table dining experiences, year-round outdoor activities like fat-tire biking, hiking, and fishing, exceptional grass court tennis, and one of the finest golf experiences in the Midwest.

The focus at Sand Valley is one of uncompromising quality in every aspect. From course layout and condition to food and beverage offerings, to every detail in the golf operation and overnight rooms, this project will sustain the culture and reputation of unparalleled customer service and memorable guest experiences.

The Lido-C.B. Macdonald’s long-lost gem – recently restored at Sand Valley by Tom Doak and Renaissance Golf, opened to its members and guests this summer. It was considered by golf historians as one of the greatest golf courses ever created and after it was repurposed to the US Navy during WWII, it has intrigued many as one of the great lost wonders of the golf world. Today, golfers can participate in the Lido’s resurrection and will be captivated by its demand for strategy and bold design. Although it is considered a private destination club there is limited opportunity for guests to play at the reborn Lido.

Opening in June 2024, The Tennis Center is adjacent to the resort’s new 16 grass tennis courts and features ample outdoor seating overlooking the grass courts and the 18th hole of Sedge Valley. Inside, Guests can relax and recover with food and drink at The Gallery, a bistro-style Italian restaurant located within the Tennis Center. The Gallery overlooks an unexpected example of the rich history of tennis: the eleventh Court Tennis in the United States.

The Commons a design by Jimmy Craig of Coore Crenshaw will start construction in the spring of 2024. The Commons, the resort’s 5th, will be a 12-hole short course consisting mainly of par 3’s and par 4’s with grass bunkers as the main hazards. The course will be a part of the new Sedge Village development at Sand Valley.
