Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a production strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Develop and manage the production schedule, budget, and resources required to deliver high-quality games on time and within budget
- Plan and schedule all production activities, including resource allocation, task assignments, and timelines.
- Ensure that all production processes are efficient, effective, and scalable, driving continuous improvement through the use of data and analytics.
- Manage and oversee all production teams, including producers, project managers, and coordinators, ensuring that they are aligned with the production strategy and have the resources they need to succeed.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including game designers, engineers, artists, and QA testers, to ensure that all products meet quality standards and are delivered on time and on budget.
- Ensure that all games are produced to the highest standards, meeting or exceeding customer expectations
- Develop and implement processes for risk management, including contingency planning and issue escalation.
- Communicate progress, risks, and issues to the leadership team
- Ensure that all products comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and accountability, driving continuous improvement across the organization.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and partners
Must Have
- 10+ years of experience in production management, with a proven track record of delivering successful products.
- Deep understanding of game development processes, including game design, engineering, art, and quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of producers, project managers, and coordinators.
Good to have
- Passion for gaming and a desire to create engaging and innovative gaming experiences
- Deep understanding of the gaming industry, industry trends and emerging technologies in gaming.
- Familiarity with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine.
