Your Role
- Oversee design decisions relating to core gameplay, systems, and economy of the game
- Work closely with other stakeholders to ensure that game design and quality are being met
- Monitor and adjust game designs to ensure fairness and player engagement
- Develop and balance game mechanics, systems, and economy
- Develop creative solutions to game design problems
- Create and maintain game design document to ensure design consistency and accuracy
- Create and manage game design schedule
- Participate in playtesting and feedback sessions
- Analyzing playtest data to adjust game balance and design
- Troubleshoot game design issues
Must Have
- 7+ years of game design experience in mobile free-to-play games
- Deep understanding of game design principles and processes
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Experience with game monetization strategies
Good to have
- Experience with game engines such as Unity3D or Unreal Engine
- Understanding of game analytics, metrics and data-driven design
- Knowledge of user experience design principles
- Understanding of game development life cycles
- Excellent project management skills
