Corporate Development @Dream11
The Corporate Development (CD) team at Dream Sports drives M&A and investments for Dream Sports, India’s leading Sports Technology company. Driving the group's vision to "Make Sports Better" the CD team acquires and invests in companies across Sports content, Sports commerce, Sports tech, Sports gaming and Fitness tech, including applications of new-age disruptive technology such as Gen AI, AR / VR and Web3 in sports.
Your Role :
- Shepherding the transaction(s) from start to close and being the primary point of contact for the internal deal team
- Overseeing due diligence & drafting of transaction documents such as SPA, SSA, SHA and Term sheets including NDAs
- Work on structuring domestic/cross border transactions in line with relevant regulatory compliances & mitigate risks accordingly
- Guiding portfolio companies in navigating through complicated business contracts, stock options plans, governance and other execution issues
- Leading & managing legal aspects of investor relations for existing & prospective investors
- Effectively communicating and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders including business teams, law firms, accounting and other advisors
Qualifiers :
- LLB with 12+ years PQE in a corp dev/VC/PE/ law firm
- Demonstrated experience in deal-making/ transactions and related legislations such as Companies Act, FDI, ODI, commercial contracts etc.
- Proven experience in dealing with complex domestic & international legal structures
