About The Role:
You’ll contribute hands-on to the development of a companion app for the new generation of electric vehicles for the Honda and Acura brands. Applications you develop will target Android and iOS, and will communicate with modules of the car through various protocols over the network and Bluetooth.

What You Will Do

    • Mobile App development for automotive together with other engineers, PMs, designers, teams and partners.
    • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to industry best practices and coding standards.
    • Work with the team to troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
    • Support engineering development lifecycle processes in a highly regulated and safety-oriented industry.
    • Work with Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) and Jetpack Compose using reactive and streaming architectures.

What We Are Looking For

    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience)
    • Familiarity with Android app development frameworks and libraries
    • Experience with distributed version control systems such as Git with Github
    • Good team player with a positive attitude who is committed to continuously improving the team, the product, and the company
    • A passion for exploring and adopting new technologies and mobile development best practices
    • Excellent communication skills in English

Nice To Have

    • Familiarity with reactive/streaming architectures.
    • Experience with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
    • Fluency in both Japanese and English.
