About the role
Drivetrain is looking for a Manager to lead our Product Design function. You'll be leading a team of designers to produce high quality design. You'll need to mentor designers, communicate with other teams, prioritise design tasks, and conduct design reviews. You'll play a leadership role in defining Drivetrain’s product decisions.
What you’ll be doing
Experience managing Product Design Managers who focus on enterprise business tools.
Solid visual awareness with understanding of basic design principles like typography, layout, composition, and colour theory.
Experience defining the high-level strategy (the why) and helping your team tie design and research back to that strategy.
Proficiency with visualisation software (e.g. Figma, Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
Experience driving organisational change with cross-functional stakeholders.
Passion for creating visually pleasing and intuitive user experiences.
Collaborative team spirit with great communication skills.
Ability to master Drivetrain.
What you'll bring to the role:
Has 6-8 years of SaaS Product Design experience
Excellent writing skills
Has strong analytical skills with a creative mind
Is aspirational, self-driven, and proactive
Has excellent communication skills
