Our Culture.
Our team is driven by innovation, expertise, and an unwavering commitment to customer success. Our leaders are experienced engineers, pilots, and entrepreneurs. We’re building a diverse, collaborative team where individuals can bring their full selves to work, have fun, and feel a strong sense of belonging. Here, you’ll roll up your sleeves alongside teammates who care deeply about their craft, their communities, and each other. Do you dream in Figma?

Are you ready to solve critical problems for first responders with real world implications? Are you excited to spend hours debating 4px vs 8px and other design library component decisions?

We’re looking for an experienced and inspiring Senior Product Designer to join our product design team. You’ll work across Android, iOS, and Web platforms to expand and up-level current products, lead the way in developing new ones, and play a key role in integrations across the Versaterm software portfolio.

What would I be doing?

    • Interact directly with First Responders at all stages including discovery, prototype walkthroughs, and post-release research.
    • Execute effective and high-quality UX and UI work in Figma
    • Balance the use of existing components and patterns versus building new ones as appropriate.
    • Work with engineering to produce ready-to-build work that directly solves the need — with an eye and opinion on expansion for what comes next.
    • Show your work early and often to internal and external users and stakeholders.
    • Help manage and grow our design system, processes, research methods, documentation, and tools.
    • Champion user-centered experiences that meet our Product Design Principles.
    • Collaborate with the Versaterm Product Design team as we bring the entire portfolio into alignment as appropriate.

Would I be a good fit for this role?

    • 7+ years of hands-on experience delivering beautiful digital products across iOS, Android, and the web.
    • A stunning portfolio that demonstrates strategic business thinking, ambitious creative solutions, and cross-platform brand consistency.
    • Proven track record in a fast-paced and high growth environment
    • Prior experience in Saas, cloud, iOS, Android, and secure products
    • Strong communication skills: verbal, written and presentation
    • Prior experience with UAS and/or public safety is a bonus
    • Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical discipline or equivalent experience

Bonus Points:

    • A low-ego, team-first mentality. You know when to get your hands dirty and when to lead through influence.
    • Build cross-functional relationships naturally across all business departments.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • You can always articulate the “why” behind your priorities and design decisions.
    • A resilient spirit that is comfortable with ambiguity and can take changes in stride.
    • A growth mindset and humble attitude. You’re intrinsically motivated to improve your work and your performance.
    • Receive critiques with an open mind, but also push back as appropriate.
