Our scalable platform uses cutting-edge patient and doctor-facing applications, as well as an extensive provider network to connect our users to doctors and nurses as required.

About the role

    • As the Head of Commercial, you will be responsible for leading and driving the commercial strategy to ensure the company's growth and profitability. This role involves overseeing sales, business development, and marketing efforts to establish and expand our market presence, as well as spearheading pricing and new product development for monetization with the Product and Technology teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthtech or a related industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

Core Duties - List of responsibilities

    • Develop and Implement Commercial Strategy:
    • - Create and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
      - Identify and prioritize target markets, customer segments, and opportunities for growth.
    • Sales Management:
    • - Lead and manage the sales team, setting targets, and monitoring performance.
      - Develop sales processes, tools, and techniques to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
      - Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
    • Business Development:
    • - Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and strategic alliances.
      - Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
    • Marketing and Brand Strategy:
    • - Oversee marketing initiatives to enhance brand awareness and generate leads.
      - Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute campaigns across various channels.
      - Ensure consistent messaging and positioning of the company's products and services.
    • Financial Management:
    • - Develop and manage the commercial budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
      - Monitor and report on commercial performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
    • Product Development and Launch:
    • - Collaborate with product development teams to align commercial strategies with product roadmaps.
      - Lead the go-to-market strategy for new product launches, ensuring successful market entry and adoption.
    • Customer Relationship Management:
    • - Ensure a customer-centric approach in all commercial activities.
      - Implement customer feedback mechanisms to continuously improve products and services.
    • Leadership and Team Development: 
    • - Build and mentor a high-performing commercial team. 
      - Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the department.
    • Compliance and Ethical Standards:
    • - Ensure all commercial activities comply with relevant regulations and ethical standards.
      - Maintain high standards of integrity and professionalism in all interactions.

About You - Essential skills and requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, healthcare management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
    • Extensive experience in a commercial leadership role within the healthtech or related industry.
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
    • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including market dynamics and regulatory environment.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
    • Bilingual is a must - Proficiency in both Arabic and English writing.
