We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team. As the top financial professional in the organization, the CFO will be responsible for ensuring the fiscal health of the company while driving financial strategy and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, strong analytical skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic business environment. This position reports directly to the company CEO.
Expectations
- Collaborate with the CEO and board of directors of Dulcedo to develop and implement long-term business strategies.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support corporate growth and profitability.
- Ensure the company maintains a healthy balance between revenue and expenses.
- Oversee financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Maintain accurate and transparent financial records and reports in compliance with regulations and standards.
- Partake in the recruitment of high-performing candidates for the finance and accounting team.
- Nurture a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement within the finance function.
- Identify and evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
- Oversee the process of securing funding through investors, lenders, or other financial avenues.
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial stakeholders.
- Monitor and manage financial risks, ensuring adequate controls and mitigation strategies are in place.
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes and ensure compliance with all legal and financial reporting requirements.
- Work closely with department heads to analyze financial data, optimize budgets, and align resources with business priorities.
- Drive initiatives to enhance financial performance and operational efficiency across the organization.
The Experience You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
- Proven experience (e.g., 10+ years) in senior financial leadership roles, preferably as a CFO
- Strong knowledge of corporate financial principles, including FP&A, GAAP, and regulatory requirements
- Expertise in mergers and acquisitions, funding, and strategic financial planning
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and influence decision-making at the executive level

L'expérience que tu apporteras (Français)
- Licence en finance, comptabilité, économie ou dans un domaine connexe (MBA ou CPA de préférence)
- Expérience confirmée (par exemple, plus de 10 ans) dans des fonctions de direction financière de haut niveau, de préférence en tant que directeur financier
- Solide connaissance des principes financiers de l'entreprise, y compris des principes comptables et financiers, des principes comptables généralement admis (GAAP) et des exigences réglementaires
- Expertise en matière de fusions et acquisitions, de financement et de planification financière stratégique
- Compétences exceptionnelles en matière d'analyse, de communication et de leadership
- Capacité à collaborer efficacement avec diverses équipes et à influencer la prise de décision au niveau de la direction
