A Construction Manager provides experience, leadership and guidance throughout the entire scope of a project, from initial planning to project close-out. They foresee potential challenges, resolve conflicts immediately, and emphasize responsive and open communication with the entire project team. They must maintain good working relationships with internal and external clients and cultivate strong workplace relationships. The Construction Manager reports to the Chief Innovation Officer.
Strong understanding of all aspects of construction practices and methods including contracts, estimating, specifications, codes, scheduling, safety, technology, and equipment.

Assist with project planning, scheduling and preliminary budgeting.
Facilitate selection process for Site Partners, subcontractors, logistics, other consultants and services.
Facilitate Contractor bidding/selection process.
Review contracts with clients and external vendors.
Ensure required bonds and insurance is in place with all conditions met.
Act as Project Representative and liaison between the project and affected stakeholders from pre-design into occupancy.
Maintain updated project status information in real time and provide as requested.
Organize and conduct project meetings and ensure that accurate meeting records are produced and communicated to team.
Review and make recommendations to Customer Experience Team Request for Information (RFI) and Change Order Requests (COR).
Monitor project schedule and take appropriate action to ensure compliance with agreed milestones and completion dates.
Monitor project costs and take appropriate action to ensure compliance with agreed project budget.
Monitor project quality and take appropriate action to ensure compliance with contract documents.
Document quality control checkpoint on site via BIM360 Build Project Management Software
Ensure proper schedule to ensure payment request dates are in line with project completion.
Maintain files of all pertinent correspondence and documentation in organized digital folders.
Prepare daily project logs and ensure that accurate records are kept in an organized manner
Ability to take full plan sets and organize consolidated job scope for internal and external teams
Candidate has 3-5 years of experience in the AEC industry Confident Ability to read Blueprints - BIM360 or Revit experience is a plus
Understand and communicate resourcing from production to site work
Willing to travel to our manufacturing facility in Loma Linda, and project sites
