As a Support Engineer in the Support Ops area, you will:

Collaborate with a global team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment to deliver high-quality services to customers
Be responsible to solve technical and dynamic requests made by customers all over the world
Perform triage, root cause analysis, debugging and troubleshooting errors and performance issues across one-to-many Atlassian Marketplace's products
Ensure client requests are addressed and project delivery is executed successfully in every respect to the customer's satisfaction
Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions accordingly
Collaborate with our internal and external Knowledge Base
Prepare and deliver training for internal teams

As a Support Engineer, you have...

    • Advanced written and spoken English (mandatory)
    • Advanced experience with Linux command-line interface
    • Experience with Java heap and thread dumps analysis
    • Experience with Apache, Tomcat server configuration, proxy, SSL and related configurations and tuning, and JVM tuning
    • Experience with ITIL practices and IT support
    • Familiarity with Active Directory/LDAP, SSO
    • Familiarity with databases and demonstrated SQL experience (MySQL, Postgres);
    • Intense IT experience in customer-facing and/or technical roles;
    • Knowledge on how to install, administer and configure Java-based web and groovy applications in different Operating Systems (Linux, Windows);
    • Strong customer focus, can-do attitude and sense of urgency to get things done
    • Understanding of the design, implementation, and deployment of high performance, large-scale Java applications in a distributed (Data-center) environment
