Sales Development Representative

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you’ll report into the Vice President of Sales and Director of Sales.

Job Mission
As a SDR, you will be a key contributor on a team driving our total bookings through new bookings and expansions. 

In this role you will:

    • Become an eSpark Expert
    • Cold call targeted list of prospects
    • Qualify inbound leads
    • Collaborate within your team to build awareness of eSpark in assigned territories
    • Map key stakeholders, understand prospects’ pain points, gather requirements, correlate value to prospect needs and determine the likelihood of the prospect being a good fit for eSpark offering.
    • Consistently achieve assigned lead generation quotas and performance goals.
    • Update and maintain prospect information and sales activities on systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Outreach, etc
    • Provide Account Executives with detailed notes on prospect interaction and deal insights to ensure the opportunity is understood, and next steps are clearly defined.

Qualifications

    • A strong willingness to be mentored
    • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, communication skills and time management
    • Willingness to learn new technology
    • Persistence to maintain high call volumes
    • Sales experience a plus
    • Bonus Points: 
    • 3+ years teaching experience and a passion for K-12 education

Key Activities

    • Develop proficiency in the eSpark product and services
    • Use Salesforce and Outreach to effectively manage your activity, pipeline and progress towards your individual goals.
    • Grow territory pipeline through setting meetings with decision makers for AEs and ISRs within your territory
    • Collaborate with territory partners to prospect and acquire new eSpark customers
    • Cold call prospects 
    • Meet with teachers to build eSpark interest within their school
