What you’ll do

As an Email Marketing Manager, Growth Marketing, you’ll work across sales and marketing functions to organize, structure, and improve our email efforts. This is a mission-critical role that will shape the direction of eSpark’s product and business growth.

In this role, you’ll focus on communicating with teachers through cold email, warm email, and active partners emails. You will be creating and implementing copy, designs, and sequences as part of the holistic communication strategy. Nearly every department will have need of your expertise and vision, so you will pulled in many different directions.

Who you are

Email Marketing Experience. You have 5+ years of experience focusing on email marketing, preferably sending millions of emails a month
Collaborator. Proven ability to engage with sales folks, marketers, engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship


    • Work with all teams to own and advise on eSpark's overall email strategy and branding, from marketing to sales to product.
    • Solely own cold email outreach, including sending 1m+ emails per month to cold prospects.
    • Become an expert in all eSpark email platforms, including Hubspot, Overloop, Intercom, and Outreach.
    • Perform detailed A/B tests to constantly improve email work.
    • Manage large databases of email contacts.


    • 5+ years managing email marketing.
    • Experience at all stages of email marketing, including cold email lists, warm customers, and paying partners.
    • Experience resolving email deliverability & domain reputation issues.
    • Highly data driven, with strong excel and analytical skills.
    • Basic design & html knowledge to create compelling emails and email templates.
    • Bonus: Experience managing 1m+ emails per month.
    • Bonus: Experience with the following platforms: Hubspot, Overloop, Intercom, Outreach.
