About Easy Agile

Easy Agile is an Australian founded bootstrapped start-up. We have four products built on top of Atlassian’s flagship product Jira, sold via the Atlassian Marketplace. Profitable from year 1, we are on a truly unique journey with an emphasis on work/family/community/self balance, while growing a high-performing team. Due to our extremely fortunate position, we are driven by giving back to our community and our people - enabling our people to live the lives they only dreamed of.

Our HQ is in Wollongong and we have an office in Sydney, but you can find us scattered along the coast anywhere from Brighton to Tweed Heads. We offer flexible working, so you can be based anywhere in Australia! We optimise for collaboration and connection face to face as a team each quarter.

We believe that being agile is a mindset, and that true agility unlocks a team’s potential to be happier at work, have more impact in the solutions they’re building, and be more focused on their customer’s success! That’s why our purpose is to help organisations realise the benefits of being agile. We’re proud to call over 1,900 companies our customers, including Netflix, Harvard, Amazon, Lego, Mercedes and Twitter.

About the role:

As Easy Agile’s first dedicated team member in the content space, you’ll play a crucial role in driving organic traffic, enhancing brand visibility, and boosting user engagement. You’ll be working alongside our incredible marketing team of 5 to be the voice of Easy Agile and connect our brand with Agile teams around the world.

About you:

    • You are experienced at copywriting and building content including copy for social, email, blogs, guides, e-books and much more.
    • You can effectively build content in alignment with brand objectives, target audience and tone of voice preferences. We have strategic goals to be the expert in the agile space and you’ll be a key driver in helping us get here.
    • You understand SEO principles and can research and write content that takes advantage of SEO opportunities by incorporating relevant keywords and meta descriptions to improve organic visibility and drive traffic. You write for the human first and balance that with an understanding of how to write for “the machine” to ensure we can meet our strategic goals.
    • You know how to write and engage a B2B audience. You enjoy the differences of writing in a B2B context and have a passion for creating engaging and user-centric content.
    • You stay up to date with emerging digital trends, technologies, and best practices in copywriting and content marketing to continually leverage efficiencies in your craft. We don’t think AI is going to replace your role but we sure believe it can enhance it.
    • You are a team player and know how to collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to craft effective content.

We’ll be excited if you have:

    • Worked in the technology/SaaS industry and understand the nuances of content/copywriting in this space.

We value punching above our weight and people over perfection, so go ahead and apply - we'd love to hear from you.
