Salary Range: $110,000-$130,000

The Role ๐Ÿ’ป

Weโ€™re looking for a passionate self-starter to join the EcoCart Engineering, Product, & Design (EPD) team as a Product Manager I! This role offers a great opportunity to continue to learn Product Management from the ground up and start contributing to our Data Platform pod right away. As a PM I you will be a part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with a cross-functional team to develop highly-scalable data ingestion applications, construct real-time and batch data pipelines and reusable data models that deliver trustworthy reporting and business intelligence to stakeholders. Our ideal candidate has experience as either a product manager, a project manager or a business analyst previously working with data or analytics products. You also have a strong ability for documenting user requirements, are highly technical, and have extreme attention to detail. You will play a critical role in the future of our data and analytics infrastructure and reporting products at EcoCart. Youโ€™ll work with the VP of Product and your team of engineers to set short, medium, and long-term strategic direction for your product domain, identify areas of critical need based on future growth, and develop roadmaps to strategically address these opportunities. 

The Data Platform team is a high-impact group of people with Engineering, Data Science and Analytics skills that build and support data products that are utilized by many teams at EcoCart. This role reports to the VP of Product.

A day in the life โ˜€๏ธ

    • Manage the development and delivery of EcoCarts Data and Analytics Products. 
    • Work with a cross-functional team to build highly-scalable data ingestion applications, data pipelines and reusable data models that deliver trustworthy reporting and business intelligence to stakeholders.
    • Be the domain expert for all things EcoCart Data and act as the go-to person for all stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with engineers, analysts, data scientists, and other product managers to scope new or refine existing product features and data capabilities that increase business value, adoption, and user engagement.
    • Interface with Sales, Revenue Operations, and Customer Success teams to collect internal user feedback and manage the intake process for new requests.
    • Own the data support process and triage issues / answer questions to enable our internal users to understand and use our data products.
    • Maintain a strong POV on what is the best experience for the end user of your product.
    • Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to manage the Product Backlog in a way that balances the needs of the business with the management of technical debt.
    • Stay up to date on industry trends and emerging technologies/frameworks within the space.
    • Manage the work for your pod to achieve product goals.

We are looking for ๐Ÿ”

    • 2+ years of experience as either a product manager, program manager, business analyst or equivalent experience with demonstrated ability to work with data products and deliver alongside technical teams
    • Technical acumen that enables you to collaborate with data engineers and data analysts to drive technical discussions about design of data visualizations, data models, ETLs, deployment of data infrastructure
    • Basic understanding of Data Analytics, Product analytics concepts, and data tools such as SQL, Python, Spark, Google Analytics, Sigma, Looker, etc. 
    • A passion for new and emerging technologies
    • Excited about digging in and solving problems, offering creative and feasible solutions 
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
    • An amazing attention to detail and organizational skills  
    • The ability to gracefully handle multiple ongoing projects
    • Experience working with agile teams and using ticketing systems (we use ClickUp)

    • Comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape of the e-commerce industry
    • Deep familiarity with the e-commerce tech stack
