Our Data Aggregation & Curation Associate will work to ensure operational excellence for Lightcast, directly supporting our Engineering team. This role is regarded as the most important because it focuses on collecting, organizing, and maintaining data across the job portals using company-provided tools and sharing it in a structured format. Thereon, the Engineering team will ultimately bring the data together from thousands of job boards, company websites, online resumes, employee profiles, and traditional government sources into one place, and optimize the data for businesses to have access to the most robust and comprehensive, up-to-date picture of the labor market available accurately. A successful Data Aggregation & Curation Associate will be responsible for maintaining accurate, up-to-date, and useable information in our systems.
Major Responsibilities
- Quick analysis of web data and its structure to build new scrapers
- Troubleshoot existing web scraper to aggregate data from websites and APIs
- Demonstrate case studies
- Meet turnaround time, not to breach SLAs set up by internal/external customers
- Ensure quality of annotated data
- Follow the Agile methodology.
- Report in JIRA and Confluence and wherever necessary on a daily basis
- Follow Individual and Team Goals to abide by Key Performance Indicators
Experience and Education
- Entry level Graduates with basic computer knowledge.
- Knowledge of scripting
- Attention to details and good interpersonal skills
- Should be able to work in a team across shifts.
- Good understanding with Excel is a plus
- Must be able to quickly understand and self-learn in an ever-changing environment.
