As Release Project Manager, you will own the end-to-end release process, ensuring timely, predictable product releases across the organization. You will work closely with product, engineering, and Go-To-Market teams to manage and coordinate all aspects of the release lifecycle. This role requires a self-directed and motivated individual who can ensure smooth execution, manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and deliver releases that meet business and customer expectations.

Major Responsibilities:

    • Plan, coordinate, and oversee the release lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, and managing release activities across all teams.
    • Work cross functionally to ensure release requirements are clearly defined and met.
    • Manage dependencies between projects and teams, ensuring smooth delivery of all release components.
    • Own the release calendar, coordinating release timelines and ensuring clear communication across Lightcast.
    • Conduct release readiness reviews, post-release retrospectives, and work to continuously improve the release process.
    • Ensure all documentation, compliance, and approval processes are followed for each release.

Abilities:

    • Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
    • Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels
    • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g. Jira, Slack, Productboard)
    • Exceptional communication skills in English

Education and Experience:

    • 3+ years of experience managing software releases or technical project management
    • Experience with Agile methodologies and managing cross-functional teams
    • PMP certification a plus
