Quick Summary: Join our strong team as the RFP and Proposal Manager! In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate with customer-facing teams, tapping into our company-wide resources to craft compelling responses to RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, and ad-hoc inquiries. Your contributions will be instrumental in driving Lightcast's business development efforts, as you work closely with customer-facing teams to deliver accurate and timely responses that captivate clients/prospects and drive sales. As the owner of this function, you'll immerse yourself in our technology updates, distilling complex information into clear, engaging documentation for internal and external audiences. You’ll help shape the future of Lightcast, where every day brings new opportunities to innovate and excel.
Major Responsibilities:
- Manage RFP and RFI Response Strategy, including:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and ensure timely and accurate responses.
- Maintain a repository of RFP/RFI responses and continuously refine content based on feedback and learnings.
- Assist Product Team with Research, including:
- Collaborate with the Talent Product team to conduct product and customer research.
- Engage with current customers to understand their needs and gather feedback on existing solutions.
- Identify opportunities for product enhancements and new solution development to better serve customer needs.
- Support Solution Engineering and Pre-Sales Efforts, including:
- Serve as an extension of the pre-sales team, joining prospect conversations to assist with solution delivery.
- Illustrate how Lightcast's technical solutions, APIs, and programmatic data delivery can address customer needs.
- Work closely with solution engineering and professional services teams to ensure smooth handoff and implementation.
Education and Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience is required managing RFP and RFI processes is required, preferably in a tech /SaaS space.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or data science required.
- Intermediate technical skills such as data science and analysis, using Python, and/or SQL, along with experience working with APIs, are a strong plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams.
- Prior experience working as a solutions consultant or solutions architect is also a plus.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
