Who you are...
Skilled at managing priorities and passionate about creating safe and collaborative work environments, you will supervise the implementation of large-scale energy performance projects. You’re resourceful, independent, and will proactively take initiative after consulting with our team of experts. As a Site Supervisor, you will contribute to delivering top quality projects to Ecosystem’s clients. You will supervise the work directly on site and resolve a variety of challenges in collaboration with a team of engineers. You will also ensure compliance with OHS regulations and the labour standards of the construction industry.
For this position, you will need to travel to the worksite each day.

What you will do...

    • Establish a culture of excellence in Occupational Health & Safety and ensure that teams on site always follow OHS best practices.
    • Ensure the work proceeds smoothly and efficiently from day to day. 
    • Make sure the work progresses as planned, open and close the site, manage various trades, and supervise subcontractors.
    • Cultivate a collaborative environment, ensuring positive interactions between clients, building users, subcontractors, and operators.
    • Check quality of work and ensure conformity with plans and specifications.
    • Represent the project engineers when they are not able to be on site and support them in a variety of related tasks that they need your help with. 

Your profile...

    • Experience supervising construction sites and supervising work
    • Knowledge of building mechanics (specific knowledge of HVAC systems is an asset) 
    • Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
    • Knowledgeable about OHS standards and regulations
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Comfortable using MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
    • Ability to mediate and resolve conflicts between diverse stakeholders, often under stressful circumstances
    • Ability to act as Ecosystem’s representative with all stakeholders and negotiate with professionalism
