Who you are…
You are a Mechanical Engineering student going into your Junior or Senior year, looking for experience and exposure in building mechanics, energy systems and performance. Located at Ecosystem’s Washington office, you as an intern will join a multidisciplinary and innovative team of technical engineers responsible for the success of multimillion-dollar projects.
What you will do…
- Collaborate with the Construction Engineers during the implementation of energy performance measures.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and help supervise the work site.
- Help prepare work plan and manage the schedule.
- Take readings and measurements of HVAC systems.
- Participate in meetings, as required, with the client, subcontractors, and internal resources to resolve issues and ensure smooth project implementation.
- Ensure compliance with best practices and health and safety on construction sites.
- Assess compliance with design, drawings, specifications, and applicable codes and regulations.
Your profile…
- Mechanical engineering student entering their junior or senior year.
- Interest in building mechanics and energy performance.
- Resourceful, organized, autonomous, great communication skills and safety-oriented.
- Able to travel to and work on-site daily and as needed.
