What you will do:
As the VP of Marketing, you will develop and execute high growth marketing strategies for an innovative healthcare company that empowers bodies and minds so employees can focus on their lives with newfound energy. In this role, you’ll develop and lead a team to drive brand awareness and marketing initiatives across all platforms focusing on B2B and B2C. The VP of Marketing is highly strategic and creative, while still very hands-on. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced, start-up environment where they will contribute to every touchpoint of the customer journey. The role reports to the Co-Founder.

What success looks like:

    • Own annual marketing plan, budget, strategy and building a highly productive team
    • Strategically prioritize marketing across all marketing mediums including, social, web, events and demand generation
    • Develop and socialize a deep understanding of our customers and what they care about and develop customer personas based on that knowledge
    • Set current and long-term goals, objectives and KPIs that connect to company OKRs
    • Maintain brand standards and ensure compliance across all marketing and communications channels
    • Develop and implement high performing demand generation activities based on annual and quarterly regional marketing plan
    • Work closely with our Product, Sales, Clinical, and Technology teams to ensure alignment on growth strategies
    • Drive the implementation of marketing campaigns that meet business objectives and drive leadsIdentify existing and emerging competitors and evaluate their strategies and positioning and devise counter-strategies
    • Manage external resources including agencies and freelancers

What you will bring:

    • 10-15+ years of B2C and B2B marketing, during which you have successfully scaled marketing programs and product launches
    • 5-8+ years of management experience building and leading high-functioning teams
    • Deep understanding of how to position a company to align with the needs of Human Resources and People Operations teams
    • Healthcare experience is a plus
    • Demonstrated success leading high-performance, lean marketing teams in a hyper-growth environment while bringing a product or service to market from conception to adoption
    • Experience developing, planning, and executing marketing campaigns, along with end-to-end performance analysis and campaign reporting
    • Deep understanding of and ability to coach user acquisition including SEO, SEM, and consumer funnel construction & optimization
    • Strong analytical capabilities balanced with a love and understanding of the creative
    • A roll-up-the-sleeves attitude while working with internal and external stakeholders
